Here you will find an overview of questions and answers related to careers at Netsecurity
1. Submit your application
The first step is to submit your application. The position you want to apply for is either advertised on our website, or you submit an open application to us. The application is sent via our recruitment portal, Talentech, to which there is a link via our website and the "apply here" button. If you submit an open application, it will be entered into a portal that we regularly check and assess.
When we read through your application, we make a comprehensive assessment of your education, grades, work experience, positions and other commitments you have had. The application is assessed against the qualification requirements we have for the position in question. If we find that your application meets the requirements for the position, you will be invited to a first interview.
2. Congratulations, you've made it, now what?
The first thing you need to do is set a date for the interview!
In order to present yourself, your skills and abilities in the best possible way, it's a good idea to prepare well for the interview. We recommend that you read through the job advertisement for a refresher. Then you should connect to relevant experience you have from before. This can be experience from studies, positions, positions, etc. Then you will be prepared for any questions that may arise.
3. The day of the interview
We know that many people are nervous about going to an interview, but by being well prepared and wearing something you feel good in, you'll be ready to perform and be at your best. Remember, we want to get to know you and want you to do well. We will focus on your skills, personality and abilities. In the initial interview, you will meet your line manager and it will last between 30 and 60 minutes. The interview will be conducted either on teams or physically at our premises. Good luck to you!
4. Second-time interview
When you have been called in for a second-time interview, this will take place physically at our premises. Several people will be present at these interviews, depending on the position and subject area. Prior to the interview, a case will often be sent out, with professionally relevant issues to be presented at the start of the interview. This gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in a practical setting.
If you move on after the interview, you may be called in for a personality test with a follow-up interview, or a final interview.
5. Feedback to you
Once we have completed the interviews, we make a final overall assessment of who we think is best suited. We will contact you after we have concluded who we want to offer the position and give you feedback. The timing of the feedback will vary for different positions, but you can always ask at the interview when it can be expected.
6. Getting started
Did you get a job offer and accepted it? Congratulations so much! A good onboarding for new employees is important for both you and us. Feel free to read more about how the first few weeks work a little further down the page.
Rejection
Apply again! The fact that you were rejected the first time only means that you will be even better prepared for the next time.
The first few months as a new employee in the company are exciting for you, and for us as an employer. There is a lot to familiarize yourself with, both professionally and socially, and it can be stressful and challenging. But we want to give you a good on-boarding so that you feel cared for.
The first few weeks will be spent getting to know the company and its employees. You'll work closely with your immediate manager/mentor to get to know your work tasks. Together, you will draw up a plan for the first few months so that mutual expectations are clarified.
Social and professional gatherings are held annually to build networks and relationships across our offices. This includes a kick-off at the start of each year. A good working environment builds success, which is why it's important to us that you as a new employee thrive.
Once the official onboarding is complete, it's your turn to embark on your new everyday life, with the help of great colleagues.
